- Provide personalized nutrition counseling to patients with various health and wellness goals.
- Develop individualized nutrition plans based on patients' needs and goals.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' dietary habits, medical history, and lifestyle factors.
- Educate patients on proper nutrition, healthy eating habits, and behavior modification techniques.
- Help patients set realistic and achievable health goals.
- Monitor patients' progress and make necessary adjustments to their nutrition plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field of nutrition and incorporate them into patient care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress and treatment plans.
- Provide support and encouragement to patients throughout their health journey.
- Adhere to ethical and professional standards of practice.
- Demonstrate compassion, empathy, and a non-judgmental approach towards patients.
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development and implementation of nutrition programs.
- Adhere to all regulatory and safety guidelines.
- Act as a resource for patients and colleagues regarding nutrition-related questions and concerns.
Bachelor's Or Master's Degree In Nutrition, Dietetics, Or A Related Field From An Accredited University.
Registered Dietitian (Rd) Credential From The Commission On Dietetic Registration (Cdr).
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Outpatient Nutrition Counseling, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Medical Nutrition Therapy And Ability To Develop Individualized Nutrition Plans For Patients With A Variety Of Health Conditions.
Excellent Communication And Counseling Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Educate And Motivate Patients To Make Sustainable Dietary Changes.
