Job Qualifications
  • Active Rn License: A Qualified Candidate For A Registered Nurse - Clinical Documentation Job At Orlando Health Must Possess An Active And Unrestricted Rn License In The State Of Florida.

  • Bsn Degree: A Bachelor Of Science In Nursing (Bsn) Degree Is Preferred For This Role, As It Demonstrates A Higher Level Of Education And Knowledge In The Nursing Field.

  • Clinical Experience: Candidates Must Have A Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Clinical Experience As A Registered Nurse, Preferably In A Hospital Or Acute Care Setting. This Experience Provides A Strong Foundation For Understanding And Documenting Patient Care.

  • Knowledge Of Clinical Documentation Standards: As A Clinical Documentation Nurse, The Candidate Must Have A Thorough Understanding Of Clinical Documentation Standards And Guidelines, Such As Those Set By The American Nurses Association (Ana) And The Centers For Medicare & Medicaid Services (Cms).

  • Strong Communication And Computer Skills: The Role Of A Clinical Documentation Nurse Requires Excellent Communication Skills And Proficiency In Computer Systems And Electronic Health Record (Ehr) Software. This Includes The Ability To Accurately Enter And Retrieve Patient Data And Effectively Communicate With Other Members Of The Healthcare Team.
