Registered Nurse - Triage

1. Serve as the first point of contact for patients, either in person or over the phone, and provide prompt and accurate assessments of their health needs.

3. Communicate effectively and compassionately with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure timely and appropriate care.
4. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations.
5. Accurately document patient information and care provided in electronic medical records.
6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and ensure treatment plans are followed.
7. Educate patients and families on their conditions, treatments, and medications.
8. Monitor patients' conditions and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare team members.
9. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
10. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols to protect patients and staff.
11. Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain knowledge and skills.
12. Provide emotional support and comfort to patients and families during difficult situations.
13. Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
14. Maintain a professional and caring demeanor at all times.
15. Represent Orlando Health in a positive and professional manner.
