Orlando Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Rehab Services Aide to join our Outpatient team. In this role, you will work closely with our talented therapists to assist patients with their rehabilitation process.   1. Assisting patients with their rehabilitation journey by providing support and encouragement.
  2. Collaborating with therapists to develop and implement personalized treatment plans for patients.
  3. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients during therapy sessions.
  4. Monitoring patients' progress and reporting any changes or concerns to therapists.
  5. Assisting with the set-up and clean-up of therapy equipment and supplies.
  6. Communicating effectively with patients, therapists, and other healthcare team members to ensure a seamless rehabilitation process.
  7. Demonstrating a strong work ethic and commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
  8. Adhering to all healthcare and safety regulations and protocols.
  9. Participating in ongoing training and education to stay updated on advancements and best practices in rehabilitation.
  10. Contributing to a positive and supportive work environment for patients and colleagues alike.

Job Qualifications
  • Education And Training: A Minimum Of A High School Diploma Or Equivalent Is Required For This Position. Additional Training Or Certification In Rehabilitation Services, Such As A Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (Cota) Or Physical Therapy Assistant (Pta) Is Preferred.

  • Experience: Previous Experience Working In An Outpatient Rehabilitation Setting Is Highly Desirable. Candidates Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Rehabilitation Procedures And Protocols, As Well As Experience Assisting With Patient Care And Activities.

  • Excellent Communication Skills: The Ability To Communicate Effectively With Patients, Therapists, And Other Healthcare Professionals Is Essential For This Role. A Good Understanding Of Medical Terminology Is Also Important.

  • Physical Fitness: This Job May Require Lifting, Pushing, And Pulling Patients And Equipment, As Well As Standing For Extended Periods Of Time. Candidates Should Be Physically Fit And Able To Meet The Physical Demands Of The Job.

  • Teamwork And Interpersonal Skills: A Rehab Services Aide Will Work Closely With Therapists, Physicians, And Other Healthcare Professionals As Part Of A Multidisciplinary Team. The Ability To Work Well With Others And Maintain A Positive Attitude Is Crucial For Success In This Role.
