
Senior Maintenance Mechanic

- Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all equipment and facilities, including but not limited to HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, and building structure.
- Troubleshoot and repair any mechanical or electrical issues that arise, utilizing problem-solving skills and technical knowledge.
- Coordinate and oversee the work of junior maintenance staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive maintenance schedule to ensure all equipment and facilities are properly maintained and serviced.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities to identify any potential issues and address them in a timely manner.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of necessary supplies and equipment, ensuring proper stock levels are maintained.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient completion of maintenance tasks and projects.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and preventative maintenance tasks.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks, and report any safety hazards or concerns to management.
- Stay up-to-date on industry best practices and advancements in maintenance technology, and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
- Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
- Communicate effectively with management and staff regarding maintenance schedules, projects, and any potential issues that may affect operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, and ensure all tools and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including but not limited to attendance, safety, and code of conduct.
Extensive Experience In Mechanical Maintenance: A Senior Maintenance Mechanic At Orlando Health Should Have A Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Mechanical Maintenance, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Troubleshooting And Repairing Various Equipment And Systems.
Knowledge Of Healthcare Facility Maintenance: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Thorough Understanding Of The Unique Maintenance Needs Of A Healthcare Facility, Such As Hvac Systems, Medical Equipment, And Building Codes And Regulations.
Strong Electrical And Plumbing Skills: A Senior Maintenance Mechanic Should Possess Advanced Skills In Electrical And Plumbing Systems, Including The Ability To Read And Interpret Schematics And Diagnose And Fix Complex Electrical And Plumbing Issues.
Leadership And Teamwork Abilities: As A Senior Position, The Candidate Should Be Able To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Maintenance Technicians, As Well As Collaborate With Other Departments To Ensure Timely And Efficient Maintenance Services.
