- Manage and coordinate schedules for medical staff to ensure proper coverage and efficient use of resources.
- Communicate and collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely scheduling.
- Monitor and update schedules to reflect any changes or updates.
- Proactively identify and resolve any scheduling conflicts or issues.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of staffing needs and requirements.
- Train and mentor new scheduling coordinators to ensure consistency and accuracy in scheduling processes.
- Keep track of employee availability and time-off requests to effectively manage and balance staff schedules.
- Coordinate with HR and payroll to ensure accurate and timely processing of staff schedules and time-off requests.
- Communicate any changes or updates in schedules to staff in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all HIPAA regulations in handling sensitive information.
- Provide exceptional customer service to staff and patients regarding scheduling inquiries and requests.
- Continuously review and improve scheduling processes to increase efficiency and accuracy.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of schedules and patient care.
- Stay updated on industry standards and best practices related to scheduling.
- Participate in meetings and training sessions as required.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills.
Bachelor's Degree In Healthcare Administration Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience In Scheduling, Preferably In A Healthcare Setting.
Strong Knowledge Of Scheduling Software And Computer Skills.
Demonstrated Ability To Manage And Prioritize Multiple Tasks And Handle A High Volume Of Scheduling Requests Efficiently.
