
Communications Coordinator
We’re looking for an outstanding Communications Coordinator to join Pacific Gas and Electric! The ideal candidate will be a creative and organized individual with excellent communication and project management skills. They should have the ability to work independently and collaboratively with all levels of staff, and a proven track record of managing successful communication campaigns.To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or a related field, as well as a minimum of five years’ experience in a communications role. They should also possess strong writing and editing skills, as well as an understanding of digital and traditional media platforms. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute successful communications campaigns for Pacific Gas and Electric
- Draft and edit communications materials such as press releases, website content, social media posts, and emails
- Collaborate with all levels of staff to ensure effective communication channels
- Monitor and measure communication campaigns to ensure desired outcomes are met
- Utilize digital and traditional media platforms to promote campaigns
- Remain up-to-date on best practices and trends in communications and social justice
- Manage multiple communication projects simultaneously and meet all deadlines
- Provide support for internal and external stakeholders on communications-related matters
- Provide guidance and support to junior staff members.
