We are looking for a motivated and driven Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Pacific Gas and Electric team. The ideal candidate for this position will have a passion for keeping our systems and data secure, along with the technical skill to make sure that our customers’ experience is safe and secure.The successful applicant should have experience in the field of computer security, networking, and risk management. They should have a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles, best practices, and industry trends. They should also demonstrate a deep knowledge of firewall, intrusion detection/prevention, and incident response technologies. Additionally, the ideal candidate should have a strong attention to detail and excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.If you have the technical knowledge and experience to become a successful Cybersecurity Analyst, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and analyze network traffic and system activity for potential security incidents.
Develop and implement security policies, procedures, and protocols.
Collaborate with IT and other departments to ensure that security measures are properly implemented.
Identify and analyze security vulnerabilities and threats.
Manage the installation and configuration of security software and hardware.
Provide training and guidance to staff on security policies and best practices.
Investigate and respond to security incidents.
Prepare reports on security risks and incidents.
Monitor and track compliance with security standards.
Stay up to date with the latest security trends and threats.
