Ensure compliance with all aviation regulations and standards set by relevant governing bodies.
Lead and manage a team of aviation professionals, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure high performance and employee development.
Monitor and analyze aviation industry trends and developments, identifying potential risks or opportunities for the company.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate aviation services into company operations and initiatives.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external stakeholders, such as government agencies and aviation service providers.
Conduct regular audits and inspections to ensure the safety and efficiency of all aviation operations.
Develop and manage budgets for aviation operations, ensuring cost-effectiveness and accountability.

Job Qualifications

Strong Knowledge And Experience In Aviation Industry: A Director Of Aviation Services At Pacific Gas And Electric Should Have A Minimum Of 10 Years Of Experience In The Aviation Industry, With A Deep Understanding Of Aviation Regulations, Safety Protocols, And Best Practices.
Leadership And Management Skills: This Role Requires Strong Leadership And Management Skills To Oversee A Team Of Aviation Professionals And Ensure The Smooth And Efficient Operation Of Aviation Services At Pg&E. The Ideal Candidate Should Have Proven Experience In Managing And Developing High-Performing Teams.
Strategic Planning And Decision-Making Abilities: As A Key Member Of The Executive Team, The Director Of Aviation Services Should Possess Strategic Planning Skills To Develop And Implement Long-Term Plans For The Aviation Department. They Should Also Be Able To Make Critical Decisions In A Fast-Paced And Dynamic Environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills: Effective Communication And Interpersonal Skills Are Essential For This Role, As The Director Of Aviation Services Will Need To Collaborate With Various Departments, Stakeholders, And External Partners. They Should Also Have The Ability To Communicate Complex Technical Information To Non-Technical Audiences.
