Job Description

At Pacific Gas and Electric (PG&E), we are seeking a proactive and motivated Energy Efficiency Specialist to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a strategic thinker and problem solver with a passion for helping customers reduce their energy consumption and costs. The Energy Efficiency Specialist will be responsible for providing PG&E customers with energy efficiency solutions and services to help them save energy and money.To be successful in this role, the candidate must have knowledge of energy efficiency technologies, experience assessing and delivering energy efficiency programs, and excellent customer service skills. We are looking for an individual who is committed to helping customers reduce their environmental footprint while achieving their energy efficiency goals. The Energy Efficiency Specialist must also be able to work independently and take initiative to identify and implement innovative solutions.

Responsibilities:

Consult with customers on energy efficiency solutions and services to help them save energy and money.
Assess customer needs and develop energy efficiency plans that meet their individual goals.
Evaluate customer energy usage and recommend energy efficiency technologies.
Implement energy efficiency programs to assist customers in reducing their environmental footprint.
Maintain accurate records of customer energy efficiency plans and recommendations.
Monitor customer energy consumption and identify areas of improvement.
Develop and deliver training and educational materials on energy efficiency to customers.
Stay up-to-date on energy efficiency trends and technologies.
Collaborate with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Provide excellent customer service and support.
