Are you an experienced Environmental Scientist looking for an exciting new opportunity with an industry leader? Pacific Gas and Electric is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our team and help protect the environment and promote sustainable practices. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement programs to ensure that our policies comply with applicable environmental regulations.We are looking for a candidate with strong knowledge of environmental science principles, a passion for sustainability, and the ability to work collaboratively and independently. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or a related field and at least three years of experience in an environmental science role. Responsibilities:

Develop and implement programs to ensure that Pacific Gas & Electric policies comply with applicable environmental regulations.
Monitor and assess changes in environmental regulations and laws, and assess the impact on Pacific Gas & Electric.
Keep up to date on the latest environmental science trends and research.
Analyze data and provide technical advice to management regarding environmental compliance.
Prepare reports and presentations on environmental projects and initiatives.
Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure compliance with environmental regulations.
Assist in the development of environmental policies and procedures.
Identify potential environmental risks and opportunities and recommend solutions.
Participate in community outreach initiatives related to environmental issues.
Support the implementation of sustainable practices in the workplace.
