Environmental Scientist

We are excited to be offering an exciting opportunity for an Environmental Scientist to join our Environmental Services team at Pacific Gas and Electric. As an Environmental Scientist, you will play a critical role in ensuring that our company meets all environmental regulations and standards. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining environmental compliance programs as well as providing technical expertise in environmental-related issues.To be successful in this role, you must have a Bachelor’s degree in environmental science or a related field and at least 5 years of experience in the environmental field. You must possess excellent research and analytical skills and be able to work independently and collaboratively. 5. Communicate effectively with colleagues and other stakeholders.
6. Develop and/or implement environmental compliance programs.
7. Monitor and track environmental performance data.
8. Remain up to date on changing regulations and standards.
9. Support all environmental safety initiatives.
10. Prepare reports and presentations related to environmental compliance.
