Job Description

At Pacific Gas and Electric, we are looking for an experienced and reliable Gas Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely installing, inspecting, maintaining, and repairing gas equipment and systems according to company and regulatory standards. You must be able to work with minimal supervision and have a strong commitment to safety and customer service.The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in the gas industry, a valid driver’s license, and a Class A or B commercial driver’s license. You must have a thorough knowledge of gas laws and regulations, and have the ability to interpret and apply them to job tasks. You should also have strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot gas systems quickly and accurately.We are looking for a motivated individual who is committed to delivering outstanding customer service and is willing to go the extra mile to ensure the safety of our customers and employees. Responsibilities:

Install, inspect, maintain, and repair gas equipment and systems according to company and regulatory standards.
Follow company safety policies and procedures to ensure the safety of customers and employees.
Provide outstanding customer service.
Troubleshoot gas systems quickly and accurately.
Maintain a valid driver’s license, and a Class A or B commercial driver’s license.
Interpret and apply gas laws and regulations to job tasks.
Work with minimal supervision.
Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor.
Display strong problem-solving skills.
Work collaboratively with team members.
