GIS Specialist

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement GIS solutions to support the planning, design, and operations of the natural gas and electric system.
2. Utilize a variety of GIS technologies, including ESRI software and ArcGIS, to create and maintain accurate geographic information system (GIS) maps and databases.
3. Analyze data to identify problems and develop solutions to ensure accuracy of GIS data.
4. Troubleshoot GIS software issues and provide technical support to other staff.
5. Develop scripts and other software tools to improve GIS data management.
6. Utilize creative problem solving to develop innovative GIS solutions.
7. Collaborate with team members and other departments to ensure successful completion of GIS projects.
8. Maintain current knowledge of GIS software, systems, and best practices.
9. Provide training and support to users of GIS software.
10. Work independently and maintain excellent communication and organizational skills.
