Job Description

As a GIS Specialist at Pacific Gas and Electric, you will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of GIS systems and related tools. You will serve as the primary technical resource for GIS-related projects, and ensure that GIS applications are used to their fullest potential. We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated individual with excellent technical and communication skills, a strong attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders. If you are driven and eager to make an impact on the energy industry, we invite you to apply!To qualify for this position, you must have a Bachelor's degree in GIS, Computer Science, Geography, or a related field, as well as at least two years of experience with GIS, cartography, or a related field. You must also have a strong understanding of GIS-related software, GIS data formats, and geospatial analysis, as well as experience with web-based mapping. Familiarity with databases, programming languages, and other related software is a plus.
