
Assistant Buyer, Men's Branded Apparel
We are looking for an Assistant Buyer to join the Men's Branded Apparel team at PacSun. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organized, detail-oriented individual to bring their passion for fashion to the table. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the latest trends and be able to develop strategies to create and grow the PacSun men’s branded apparel business.The successful candidate will be a key contributor to the success of the Men’s Branded Apparel team and will have a direct impact on the company’s bottom-line. They will be responsible for assisting in the development and execution of the buying strategy, developing and maintaining vendor relationships, analyzing sales and performance data, and helping to ensure product selection and assortment are aligned with the company’s goals and brand objectives.The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of two years buying experience, including experience in men’s branded apparel and a strong knowledge of the retail industry. They must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a passion for fashion, an eye for trends, and a strong analytical mindset. An understanding of retail operations and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment is also a must.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute the buying strategy for men's branded apparel
- Maintain relationships with vendors and other retail contacts
- Analyze sales and performance data to identify trends and areas of improvement
- Assist in selecting and assorting products that are in line with company goals and brand objectives
- Utilize knowledge of retail operations to ensure a fast-paced and efficient workflow
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to ensure product selection is up-to-date
- Prepare and manage budgets and forecasts for product lines
- Work with the marketing and visual teams to ensure that promotional campaigns are effectively executed
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure product selection is in line with company branding and goals
