
Principal Product Manager (Cortex Cloud)

- Develop and execute a product strategy for our Cortex Cloud portfolio, aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Lead a team of product managers and work closely with cross-functional teams to define product vision, roadmap, and priorities.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs and market trends, and use this information to drive product innovation.
- Collaborate with engineering, design, and sales teams to ensure successful product launches and go-to-market strategies.
- Develop and manage product budgets, including forecasting, pricing, and profitability analysis.
- Monitor and analyze product performance, gathering feedback from customers and stakeholders to continuously improve and enhance our offerings.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on our cloud products, providing guidance and support to sales, marketing, and customer success teams.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitors' products to identify potential opportunities or threats.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the product management team.
- Act as a spokesperson for our cloud products, representing the company at industry events and conferences.
Extensive Experience In Product Management: The Ideal Candidate For This Role Should Have A Minimum Of 8-10 Years Of Experience In Product Management, With A Proven Track Record Of Successfully Launching And Managing Cloud-Based Products.
Strong Technical Background: As A Principal Product Manager For Cortex Cloud, The Candidate Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Computing, Saas, And Other Relevant Technologies. A Background In Computer Science Or Engineering Is Preferred.
Strategic Thinking And Leadership Skills: This Role Requires A Candidate Who Can Think Strategically And Provide Clear Direction To The Product Team. The Candidate Should Have Experience In Setting Product Vision, Defining Roadmaps, And Driving Cross-Functional Teams Towards A Common Goal.
Excellent Communication And Collaboration Skills: The Principal Product Manager Will Be Working Closely With Various Teams, Including Engineering, Marketing, Sales, And Customer Success. Strong Communication And Collaboration Skills Are Essential For This Role To Effectively Manage And Align These Teams Towards Product Success.
Knowledge Of Cybersecurity Industry: Palo Alto Networks Is A Leading Cybersecurity Company, And The Candidate For This Role Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Industry, Including Market Trends, Competitive Landscape, And Customer Needs. Previous Experience In The Cybersecurity Industry Is Highly Desirable.
