
Solutions Consultant 2 (Pre Sales Engineer) - SLED

- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Palo Alto Networks' cybersecurity solutions and their capabilities.
- Stay up-to-date on the latest trends and developments in the SLED industry, specifically in regards to cybersecurity.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with SLED clients, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Collaborate with the sales team to identify and qualify potential SLED customers, and provide technical expertise in the sales process.
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value of Palo Alto Networks' solutions to SLED clients.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to SLED clients, providing strategic solutions to their cybersecurity needs.
- Create and deliver technical proposals and recommendations to SLED clients.
- Assist in the development of customized solutions for SLED clients, using a combination of Palo Alto Networks' products and third-party tools.
- Provide technical support and guidance to SLED clients during the implementation and deployment of Palo Alto Networks' solutions.
- Continuously collaborate with the product and engineering teams to provide feedback and insights from SLED clients to improve the overall product offering.
- Attend industry events and conferences to represent Palo Alto Networks and network with potential SLED clients.
- Stay organized and maintain accurate records of all interactions with SLED clients and prospects.
- Keep track of and report on sales metrics and progress to the sales team and management.
- Stay informed on competitor products and strategies, and provide insights on how to differentiate Palo Alto Networks' solutions in the SLED market.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and procedures to better serve SLED clients and drive sales.
Technical Expertise: The Solutions Consultant 2 Must Have A Strong Understanding Of Networking And Security Technologies, As Well As Experience With Virtualization, Cloud Computing, And Data Center Architectures.
Communication Skills: This Role Requires Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, As The Solutions Consultant 2 Will Be Working Closely With Customers, Sales Teams, And Other Internal Departments To Understand And Address Customer Needs.
Pre-Sales Experience: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In A Pre-Sales Role, Preferably In The Sled (State, Local, And Education) Market. This Will Ensure A Thorough Understanding Of The Sales Process And The Ability To Effectively Demonstrate And Present Solutions To Potential Customers.
Industry Knowledge: A Successful Solutions Consultant 2 Should Have A Deep Understanding Of The Sled Market, Including Key Trends, Challenges, And Competitive Landscape. This Will Enable Them To Effectively Position Palo Alto Networks Solutions And Differentiate Them From Competitors.
Problem-Solving Abilities: As A Solutions Consultant 2, One Must Have Strong Problem-Solving Skills To Identify And Address Customer Needs And Pain Points. This Requires A Combination Of Technical Knowledge, Creativity, And The Ability To Think Critically And Outside Of The Box.
