- Coordinate and manage all aspects of visual effects and physical production for assigned projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Communicate and collaborate with producers, directors, and vendors to execute the creative vision for each project.
- Schedule and attend meetings with various stakeholders to discuss project progress, identify potential issues, and provide solutions.
- Manage and track project budgets, expenses, and invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Liaise with various departments within the studio, including post-production, sound, and marketing, to ensure seamless integration of visual effects and physical production.
- Research and source potential vendors for visual effects and physical production needs, negotiate contracts, and maintain relationships.
- Oversee the hiring and management of crew members, including VFX artists, production assistants, and other support staff.
- Monitor and maintain production schedules to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot any potential issues that may arise during production, and provide effective solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, advancements in technology, and best practices in visual effects and physical production.
- Collaborate with other coordinators and team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Maintain accurate and organized records of all production-related documents, including contracts, releases, and permits.
- Act as a point of contact for all external parties involved in the production process, including vendors, talent, and location representatives.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines on set and during production.
- Represent the studio in a professional and positive manner at all times.
Bachelor's Degree In Film, Visual Effects, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Experience In Vfx And Physical Production Coordination, Preferably At A Major Studio Or Production Company.
Strong Knowledge Of Industry-Standard Software And Tools, Including But Not Limited To Adobe Creative Suite, Avid, And Scheduling Software Such As Movie Magic.
Proven Ability To Multitask And Prioritize In A Fast-Paced, Deadline-Driven Environment.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Various Departments And Stakeholders.
