This role is crucial in providing legal support and advice to our business units and ensuring compliance with laws and regulations.   1. Provide legal support and advice to various business units within Paramount Pictures.
  2. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Review and negotiate contracts, including talent agreements, licensing agreements, and distribution agreements.
  4. Conduct legal research and stay updated on industry and legal developments.
  5. Draft and review legal documents and correspondence.
  6. Participate in negotiations and provide guidance on legal matters.
  7. Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to resolve legal issues.
  8. Manage and prioritize a high volume of work and meet tight deadlines.
  9. Advise on intellectual property rights and protection.
  10. Assist with company policies and procedures to ensure legal compliance.
  11. Prepare and deliver training sessions on legal topics for employees.
  12. Represent the company in legal disputes and negotiations.
  13. Keep confidential information secure and maintain the highest level of professional ethics.
  14. Stay informed on industry trends and changes in laws and regulations.
  15. Work closely with other members of the legal team to provide comprehensive legal support.
  16. Continuously improve processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
  17. Interact with outside counsel as needed.
  18. Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and industry professionals.
  19. Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned.
  20. Demonstrate a strong commitment to the company's mission and values.

Job Qualifications
  • Juris Doctor (Jd) Degree From An Accredited Law School

  • Minimum Of 3-5 Years Experience Practicing Law, Preferably In The Entertainment Industry

  • Strong Knowledge Of Contract Law And Experience Drafting And Negotiating Various Types Of Agreements

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Liaise With Internal And External Stakeholders

  • Familiarity With Current Legal And Business Issues In The Entertainment Industry, Including Intellectual Property, Labor And Employment, And Content Distribution.
