Maintenance Electrician
Visual inspects and test machinery and equipment. Listens for unusual sound from machines or equipment to detect malfunction and discusses machine operation variations with supervisors or other maintenance workers to diagnose problems or repair machine. Dismantles defected machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. Install and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. Set up and operate machine tools such as lathe, fingered drill and milling machines to repair or fabricate machine parts, jigs and fixtures, a hand tools.
The ability to evaluate a problem/ situation and determine a proper course of action to rectify the issue.
Ability to work day or night shifts as needed.
Being knowledgeable in PLCs is a plus.
Must be knowledgeable in electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatic, blueprint reading (mechanical/electrical), welding, and fabrication.
