Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Planner Specialist to join the Fluid Systems Division at Parker Hannifin. The successful candidate will be a detail-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills who can accurately plan and track inventory, order materials, and develop processes to improve inventory accuracy and availability. The ideal candidate will have a passion for organization and efficiency and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.To be successful in this role, applicants should possess the following qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field; previous experience in a planning role; strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills; the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks; and experience with ERP systems. We also welcome candidates with knowledge of the Parker Hannifin product line.

Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare and maintain accurate inventory plans and track inventory levels.
  2. Develop processes to improve inventory accuracy and availability.
  3. Monitor and manage the ordering of materials and supplies, ensuring timely delivery.
  4. Analyze data to identify potential issues and areas for improvement.
  5. Collaborate with other departments to ensure accuracy in inventory data.
  6. Implement and manage ERP systems and other software applications related to planning.
  7. Monitor and adjust inventory levels to ensure accuracy and availability.
  8. Review inventory reports and suggest strategies to optimize inventory.
  9. Develop and assess inventory plans and budgets.
  10. Develop and implement strategies to reduce inventory costs.
