- Conduct research and experiments related to nuclear energy and its applications
- Analyze and interpret data to make informed decisions and recommendations
- Develop and implement new methods and technologies to advance nuclear physics
- Collaborate with team members and other departments to achieve project goals
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in nuclear physics
- Prepare and present reports, proposals, and findings to management and clients
- Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and protocols
- Train and mentor junior physicists and technicians
- Manage and maintain equipment and supplies for experiments
- Continuously improve and optimize processes and procedures for efficiency and effectiveness.
Advanced Degree In Nuclear Physics: A Minimum Of A Master's Degree In Nuclear Physics Is Required For This Position. A Ph.d. In The Field Is Preferred.
Experience In Nuclear Research: The Ideal Candidate Should Have At Least 3-5 Years Of Experience In Nuclear Research, Preferably In A Laboratory Or Industrial Setting.
Knowledge Of Nuclear Regulations: In-Depth Knowledge Of Nuclear Safety Regulations And Procedures Is A Must For This Role. Experience Working With The Nuclear Regulatory Commission (Nrc) Is A Plus.
Strong Analytical And Problem-Solving Skills: A Nuclear Physicist Should Possess Strong Analytical Skills To Interpret Complex Data And Solve Problems Related To Nuclear Systems And Processes.
Teamwork And Communication: The Ability To Work Well In A Team Environment And Communicate Complex Scientific Concepts To Non-Technical Stakeholders Is Essential For This Role. Experience Working On Multi-Disciplinary Teams Is Preferred.
