Network Operations Center Analyst

At Paycom, we are looking for an experienced and motivated Network Operations Center (NOC) Analyst to join our growing team. We need a self-starter who is capable of troubleshooting network and IT infrastructure issues, as well as providing technical support to our customers. If you have a passion for technology, the ability to respond quickly to customer and organization requests, and the experience needed to keep our network running smoothly, we want to hear from you!The ideal candidate for this position should possess a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in network operations and/or IT support. An Associate's degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred, but not required. You should have knowledge of LAN/WAN network architecture, TCP/IP, and network security protocols. Additionally, you should have experience with various hardware and software systems, as well as a working knowledge of Windows, Linux, and other operating systems. Familiarity with Voice over IP (VoIP) systems is a plus. We are looking for a team player who is reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. You should have strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work with minimal supervision. The ideal candidate should have a customer-focused attitude and the desire and drive to learn and expand their skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Monitor, manage, and maintain the network infrastructure and IT systems of the organization.
2. Troubleshoot network and IT infrastructure issues and provide timely technical support to customers.
3. Ensure the security of the systems by implementing network security protocols.
4. Install, configure, and maintain various hardware and software systems.
5. Monitor and maintain VoIP systems, if necessary.
6. Identify and analyze system performance issues and provide solutions.
7. Collaborate with other teams and departments to ensure the smooth operation of the network operations center.
8. Track and document all technical support activities.
9. Maintain updated knowledge of relevant technologies and industry developments.
10. Respond to customer inquiries and requests in a timely manner.
