- Lead the intake process for new projects and initiatives in order to optimize cloud usage and expenses.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide guidance on cloud financial management.
- Develop and maintain a streamlined intake process for new projects, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
- Analyze and evaluate project proposals to determine their financial impact and feasibility in the cloud environment.
- Communicate with project stakeholders to gather necessary information and provide recommendations for cost-effective cloud solutions.
- Monitor and track cloud usage and expenses, identifying potential areas for cost optimization and making recommendations to management.
- Manage and maintain relationships with cloud service providers to stay updated on pricing and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts to support cloud budget planning and decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry best practices and trends in cloud financial management to continuously improve the intake process.

In-Depth Knowledge Of Cloud Financial Management: The Ideal Candidate Should Have A Strong Understanding Of Cloud Financial Management Concepts, Including Cost Optimization, Budgeting, And Forecasting. They Should Also Have Experience Working With A Variety Of Cloud Service Providers, Such As Aws, Azure, And Google Cloud.
Project Management Skills: The Cloud Finops Portfolio Intake Lead Will Be Responsible For Managing And Prioritizing The Intake Of New Cloud Projects. Therefore, They Should Have Excellent Project Management Skills And Be Able To Effectively Communicate With Cross-Functional Teams To Ensure Timely And Successful Project Delivery.
Experience With Financial Analysis And Reporting: This Role Requires The Ability To Analyze Financial Data And Create Reports To Track And Monitor Cloud Spending. The Candidate Should Have Experience With Financial Analysis Tools And Be Able To Provide Recommendations For Cost Optimization Based On Data Insights.
