
VP, Global Head of Compensation
We’re looking for a unique individual to join our team as PayPal’s Vice President, Global Head of Compensation. This is a critical role that will help shape our compensation philosophy and ensure that all of our employees around the world are fairly compensated for their work.The ideal candidate for this role will possess a combination of strong technical expertise in compensation and benefits, as well as an understanding of organizational dynamics, culture, and global markets. They should have a proven track record of successfully leading teams, and be able to create a clear and consistent vision for our global compensation strategy.The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to think strategically, working with the Executive Leadership Team to develop and implement innovative solutions that will help attract and retain top talent and ensure that our compensation packages are competitive in the marketplace.Required Qualifications:• A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a compensation and/or benefits role, with at least 5 years of experience in a leadership role• In-depth knowledge of international labor laws, global compensation and benefits trends• Expertise in the design of compensation programs, including base salary, performance, incentives, and equity programs• Ability to interpret and analyze complex data and develop insights and recommendations• Excellent communication and presentation skills• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field; Master’s Degree preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement global compensation and benefits programs.
- Develop and communicate a clear and consistent vision for a global compensation strategy.
- Work with the Executive Leadership Team to create innovative solutions to attract and retain top talent.
- Analyze and interpret complex data and develop insights and recommendations.
- Provide technical expertise and guidance on international labor laws, global compensation and benefits trends.
- Manage a team of compensation and benefits specialists.
- Develop and present reports to the Executive Leadership Team.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in the industry.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
