Job Description

As a Quality Control Specialist, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet our strict standards of excellence. Our ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, meticulous in their attention to detail, and has a keen sense of taste and smell. If you have a strong background in quality control and a love for all things coffee, we want to hear from you!

  1. Conduct regular quality control checks on all Peet's Coffee products, including beans, ground coffee, and brewed beverages.
  2. Develop and implement quality control procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and excellence in product quality.
  3. Work closely with the production team to monitor and maintain quality standards throughout the production process.
  4. Utilize sensory analysis techniques to evaluate the aroma, taste, and appearance of coffee products.
  5. Identify any potential quality issues and work with the production team to address and resolve them in a timely manner.
  6. Maintain accurate records of all quality control tests and results, and communicate any findings to the appropriate teams.
  7. Collaborate with the roasting and blending teams to ensure the correct specifications are met for each coffee blend.
  8. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in coffee quality standards to continuously improve our processes.
  9. Train and educate team members on quality control procedures and techniques to ensure consistency across all locations.
  10. Act as a brand ambassador and uphold Peet's Coffee's commitment to providing the highest quality coffee experience to our customers.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Food Science, Chemistry, Or Related Field.

  • Experience In Quality Control And Food Safety Regulations, Preferably In The Food And Beverage Industry.

  • Knowledge Of Sensory Evaluation And Analytical Testing Methods.

  • Strong Attention To Detail And Ability To Accurately Record And Analyze Data.
