Shift Lead

We are currently seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our team as a Shift Lead. As a Shift Lead, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our store. 1. Oversee daily operations of the store, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and cash handling.
2. Train and mentor team members on company policies, procedures, and customer service standards.
3. Monitor and maintain the quality of coffee and food products, ensuring they meet company standards.
4. Create and maintain a positive and welcoming atmosphere for customers and team members.
5. Handle customer complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
6. Ensure all team members are following food safety and sanitation guidelines.
7. Schedule and assign tasks to team members, ensuring proper coverage during peak hours.
8. Communicate any store updates or changes to team members in a clear and timely manner.
9. Assist in the hiring, onboarding, and training of new team members.
10. Collaborate with management to develop and implement strategies for increasing sales and improving customer satisfaction.
11. Maintain a clean and organized store, including restocking and ordering supplies as needed.
12. Adhere to company policies and procedures, including dress code and attendance.
13. Demonstrate a strong knowledge of Peet's Coffee products and be able to make recommendations to customers.
14. Lead by example and maintain a positive attitude to motivate team members and create a strong team dynamic.
15. Assist in special projects and events as needed.
