Team Member (Barista)

Peet's Coffee is seeking an energetic and passionate Team Member (Barista) to join our team and help bring our delicious coffee and tea to our customers. Our ideal candidate is someone with a strong coffee knowledge, excellent customer service skills, and a flair for multitasking. We are looking for a team member who will be a natural fit with our team, someone who is eager to learn and grow with us.Qualifications:• At least one year of barista experience in a specialty coffee shop or restaurant• Knowledge of specialty coffee making techniques and methods• Highly organized with excellent multitasking abilities• Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment• Ability to lift 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time• Basic math skills and the ability to operate a cash register• Open availability and reliable transportation

Responsibilities: • Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner • Prepare and serve specialty coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages • Ensure excellent customer service is provided at all times • Maintain a clean and organized workspace at all times • Follow health and safety regulations • Follow all company policies and procedures • Accurately take and enter customer orders • Ensure all items are stored and handled properly • Stock and replenish coffee and other items • Clean and sanitize all equipment • Count and reconcile cash register at the end of each shift • Assist with other tasks as needed.
