Team Member (Barista)

At Peet's Coffee, we are looking for an energetic and passionate Team Member (Barista) to join our coffee family. We seek someone who will not only provide great customer service, but also contribute to the overall success of the store.The ideal candidate would have an outgoing personality, an eagerness to learn, and a commitment to delivering quality beverages and service with a smile. They should be able to multi-task, work well with others, and have an eye for detail. We are looking for someone who is passionate about specialty coffee and ready to make their mark in the industry.Previous barista experience is preferred, but not required. The ability to stay calm under pressure and possess excellent customer service skills is a must. A current food handler's license is also required. Responsibilities:

1. Prepare and serve an array of hot and cold coffee beverages with exceptional customer service.
2. Demonstrate an understanding of the product knowledge, brewing techniques, and other specialty coffee related items.
3. Ensure that all customers receive friendly and efficient service.
4. Maintain a clean and organized work area at all times.
5. Maintain knowledge of current promotions and special offers.
6. Assist with daily store operations such as stocking, inventory, and cash handling.
7. Follow all health and safety codes and regulations as outlined by the local health department.
8. Adhere to all company policies and procedures.
9. Remain up to date on industry trends and developments.
10. Contribute to a positive and fun work environment.
