If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team at Penguin Random House as an Associate Manager for National Accounts.As an Associate Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic plans for our national accounts, building strong relationships with our partners, and driving sales for our diverse portfolio of titles. You will work closely with our sales and marketing teams, as well as with our authors and publishers, to ensure the success of our books in the marketplace.To excel in this role, you must be a self-starter with excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills. A background in publishing or bookselling is preferred, and a bachelor's degree is required.   1. Develop and execute strategic plans for national accounts to achieve sales growth targets.
  2. Build and maintain strong relationships with national account partners.
  3. Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies and promotional plans.
  4. Work closely with authors and publishers to ensure the success of their books in the marketplace.
  5. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and develop action plans.
  6. Negotiate terms and conditions with national accounts to secure optimal placement and promotion of books.
  7. Manage and maintain account budgets and forecasts.
  8. Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market developments to inform sales strategies.
  9. Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on account performance and sales initiatives.
  10. Participate in industry events and conferences to network and build relationships with key stakeholders.
  11. Train and mentor junior team members to develop their skills and knowledge.
  12. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  13. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the overall goals and objectives of the organization.
  14. Represent the company and its values in a professional and positive manner at all times.
