- Develop and execute marketing campaigns for assigned books and authors, working closely with the marketing team, authors, and other departments to ensure successful book launches and ongoing promotion.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences and develop effective marketing strategies.
- Collaborate with authors to create compelling and engaging marketing materials, including social media content, email campaigns, and book trailers.
- Assist in the development and management of marketing budgets for assigned books, ensuring efficient use of resources and tracking of expenses.
- Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns, making data-driven recommendations for improvements and adjustments as needed.
- Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, bloggers, bookstores, and other industry professionals to secure coverage and promotional opportunities for assigned books.
- Coordinate and attend book events, signings, and other promotional activities, representing the company and building relationships with readers and industry professionals.
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas and innovative approaches to marketing campaigns.
- Manage and maintain marketing databases and contact lists, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Assist in the development of marketing materials for sales and distribution teams, providing support for sales presentations and conferences.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including editorial, sales, and publicity, to ensure cohesive and effective marketing strategies.
- Provide support and guidance to junior marketing team members, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Uphold the company's values of diversity and inclusivity, seeking out and implementing diverse perspectives and voices in marketing campaigns.
- Represent the company and its values in all interactions with authors, partners, and the public, maintaining a high level of professionalism and integrity.
Bachelor's Degree In Marketing, Communications, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2-3 Years Of Experience In Marketing, Preferably In The Publishing Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Digital Marketing Strategies And Tactics, Including Social Media, Email Marketing, And Seo.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams.
Demonstrated Creativity And Innovation In Developing And Executing Marketing Campaigns.
