Responsibilities:

1. Develop ideas for book projects and other related projects.
2. Manage editorial timelines and collaborate with internal departments.
3. Read and evaluate manuscripts and other editorial materials.
4. Provide feedback to authors on their work and suggest revisions.
5. Evaluate proposals for new book projects.
6. Work with authors to ensure that their work meets the standards of the publishing house.
7. Stay up-to-date with current publishing trends and industry best practices.
8. Establish relationships with book agents, authors, and other publishing partners.
9. Negotiate contracts and fees with authors and other publishing partners.
10. Develop marketing and promotional plans for books.
