1. Develop and execute creative concepts for photo and film shoots that align with Petco's brand and marketing objectives.
2. Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project goals and deliver content that effectively communicates key messages.
3. Manage the entire production process, from pre-production planning to post-production editing.
4. Source and hire a team of photographers and videographers for each project, ensuring their skills and styles align with the desired outcome.
5. Direct and oversee photo and film shoots, providing guidance and direction to the team to ensure the desired aesthetic and messaging is achieved.
6. Ensure that all equipment, locations, and props are secured and prepared for each shoot.
7. Edit and retouch photos and videos as needed to ensure high-quality, visually appealing content.
8. Maintain a thorough understanding of current trends and techniques in photography and videography to continuously improve Petco's visual content.
9. Manage and track budgets for each project, ensuring efficient use of resources.
10. Collaborate with external vendors and partners as needed to support production needs.
11. Maintain a positive and professional working relationship with the marketing team and other stakeholders.
12. Stay updated on industry standards and best practices for photo and film production and make recommendations for improvement when necessary.
13. Ensure all visual content adheres to Petco's brand guidelines and legal requirements.
14. Represent Petco's brand and values while interacting with talent, models, and animals on set.
15. Travel to various locations for on-site shoots, as needed.
