  1. Lead and oversee all scientific affairs activities within the Oncology division at Pfizer.
  2. Serve as a subject matter expert in the field of oncology and stay up-to-date on the latest scientific advancements and trends.
  3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement scientific strategies to support the development and commercialization of oncology products.
  4. Act as a key liaison between Pfizer and external scientific experts, academic institutions, and other key stakeholders in the oncology community.
  5. Provide scientific expertise and guidance in the review and approval of promotional and educational materials related to oncology products.
  6. Plan and execute scientific advisory boards, symposia, and other scientific meetings to gather insights and gather scientific data.
  7. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key opinion leaders in the oncology field.
  8. Mentor and train junior team members in scientific affairs and provide guidance on career development.
  9. Represent Pfizer at external scientific conferences and meetings.
  10. Collaborate with global counterparts to ensure alignment and consistency in scientific messaging and activities.
  11. Monitor and analyze competitor activities in the oncology space and provide insights to inform strategic decision-making.
  12. Adhere to all relevant regulations, guidelines, and company policies related to scientific affairs.
  13. Continuously evaluate and improve processes and procedures related to scientific affairs to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  14. Contribute to the development of scientific publications, including manuscripts, abstracts, and posters.
  15. Maintain a high level of professionalism and represent Pfizer in a positive manner at all times.

Job Qualifications
  • Advanced Degree In A Relevant Scientific Field, Such As Biology, Pharmacology, Or Oncology.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Scientific Affairs Or Medical Affairs Role Within The Oncology Industry.

  • Strong Understanding Of Clinical Development Processes And Regulatory Requirements For Oncology Products.

  • Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And External Stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated Leadership Experience, Including The Ability To Lead And Mentor A Team Of Scientific Affairs Professionals.
