
Windows Server Engineer
Philadelphia Gas Works (PGW) is looking for an experienced and highly-motivated Windows Server Engineer to join our IT team. The ideal candidate should possess a strong technical background in Windows Server technologies and have experience in design, implementation, and troubleshooting.The Windows Server Engineer at PGW will be responsible for the overall performance of Windows Server operating systems, including installation, configuration, monitoring, maintenance, and troubleshooting. This position requires a working knowledge of virtualization technologies and experience with systems administration and security management.To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of five years of experience in Windows Server administration, demonstrated expertise in complex systems engineering and architecture, and a strong background in scripting language and automation. Certification in Microsoft Windows Server technologies is also strongly preferred.The successful candidate will be a highly organized, detail-oriented team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Collaborate with other IT teams to identify and resolve system issues.
- Prepare documentation for system designs, configurations, and standards.
