  • Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for enterprise informatics solutions, in compliance with relevant medical safety regulations and standards
  • Act as a subject matter expert and provide guidance on medical safety issues related to informatics systems to internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Conduct risk assessments and support the development of risk management plans for new and existing informatics products
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that medical safety considerations are integrated into the design, development, and testing of informatics solutions
  • Monitor and analyze safety data and trends, and proactively identify and address potential safety issues
  • Lead and/or participate in incident investigations related to medical safety and provide timely and accurate reporting to relevant parties
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and changes in medical safety regulations, and proactively identify potential impact on informatics solutions
  • Develop and deliver training programs on medical safety for internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Represent the company in interactions with regulatory bodies and participate in audits and inspections related to medical safety
  • Mentor and support team members in the medical safety department, and foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In A Relevant Field Such As Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, Or Biomedical Engineering.

  • Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In A Healthcare Setting, Preferably In A Leadership Role Related To Informatics Or Patient Safety.

  • In-Depth Knowledge Of Healthcare Regulations And Standards, Including Hipaa, Fda, And Iso.

  • Strong Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate Effectively With Various Stakeholders Including Medical Professionals, It Teams, And Regulatory Agencies.

  • Proven Track Record Of Implementing Successful Safety And Compliance Programs In A Complex And Dynamic Healthcare Environment.
