- Manage a portfolio of delinquent accounts and prioritize collections efforts based on account status and payment history.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis on customer accounts to identify and resolve outstanding balances.
- Communicate with customers via phone, email, and written correspondence to discuss payment options and negotiate payment plans.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all communication and collection activities.
- Collaborate with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and finance to address customer concerns and resolve issues.
- Utilize strong problem-solving skills to identify root causes of delinquency and recommend solutions to prevent future late payments.
- Follow company policies and procedures as well as federal and state regulations related to collections.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly and professionally to all customer inquiries and concerns.
- Monitor and report on collection performance to management, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers to promote timely payments and customer loyalty.
- Act as a brand ambassador for the company by promoting a positive image and representing Pitney Bowes in a professional manner.
- Continuously seek out opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to streamline collection processes.
- Meet or exceed collection goals and targets set by the company.
- Attend training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge related to collections and customer service.
- Adhere to strict confidentiality guidelines when handling sensitive customer information.
Bachelor's Degree In Finance, Accounting, Or A Related Field.
Minimum Of 2 Years Of Experience In Collections, Accounts Receivable, Or Customer Service.
Strong Communication And Negotiation Skills.
Proficient In Microsoft Excel And Experience With Collection Software.
Knowledge Of Federal And State Collection Laws And Regulations.
