Desktop and Application Support Technician
Diagnose desktop PC and label printer problems and perform repair or replacement. Provide troubleshooting and programming support for RF guns used in order fulfillment. Install applications and software updates. Create outage tickets or direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel Work with Pitney Bowes NetOps team to provide local network support. Provide technical support to local operations management. Work closely with Shelton, CT based software development team to help diagnose and correct issues. Provide direction and support during installation of new Cat6 network cabling. This will require the installation of RJ45 connectors and switch connections.
Proven work experience as a desktop support engineer or similar role
Knowledge of network security practices
Hands-on experience with Windows environment
Working knowledge of office automation products and computer peripherals like printers and scanners
Flexible schedule when required
Microsoft certifications a plus
