Mental Health and Wellness Outreach Facilitator

1. Develop and implement mental health and wellness outreach programs and initiatives for Pitzer College students.
2. Conduct outreach and facilitate workshops, presentations, and support groups to promote mental health and wellness among students.
3. Collaborate with campus partners, including counseling services, student organizations, and faculty, to coordinate and enhance outreach efforts.
4. Stay informed and up-to-date on current research, trends, and best practices in mental health and wellness in the college student population.
5. Act as a liaison between students and mental health resources, providing support and guidance to students in need.
6. Foster a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for students of all backgrounds and identities in mental health and wellness outreach efforts.
7. Maintain accurate records and documentation of outreach activities and student interactions.
8. Serve as a resource and advocate for students, providing information and referrals to appropriate campus and community resources as needed.
9. Collaborate with campus communications and marketing teams to develop and distribute promotional materials and digital content to raise awareness of mental health and wellness resources.
10. Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills in mental health and wellness outreach.
11. Cultivate relationships with faculty, staff, and student organizations to increase awareness and participation in mental health and wellness initiatives.
12. Support and adhere to Pitzer College's policies and procedures related to mental health and wellness.
13. Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all interactions with students and sensitive information.
14. Contribute to a positive and supportive team environment by participating in team meetings and offering suggestions for improvement.
15. Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
