Design Studio Specialist

Pottery Barn is looking for an experienced and creative Design Studio Specialist to join our team. This person will be an integral part of creating a welcoming and inspiring shopping experience for our customers and ensuring that their dreams for their home come to life. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about design, understands the importance of customer service, and is committed to delivering the Pottery Barn experience and lifestyle. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or related field, with at least 3 years of experience in interior design and/or related retail experience. They will have an eye for detail and the ability to work with a wide variety of customers. The Design Studio Specialist must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, be able to think on their feet, and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment. They will be able to build relationships with customers, and be able to interpret customer needs and provide design solutions. This person should be comfortable with technology and be able to use the various software and applications necessary to complete projects. Above all, the Design Studio Specialist must have a desire to create a positive and inspiring customer service experience for everyone that visits our store.

1. Develop and maintain strong customer relationships by providing exceptional customer service.
2. Analyze customer needs and provide design solutions that meet their requirements.
3. Provide product knowledge to customers and suggest creative design solutions.
4. Utilize technology and software to complete projects efficiently.
5. Maintain a positive and inspiring shopping experience for all customers.
6. Facilitate successful project completion from the initial consultation through to the installation of the final product.
7. Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of current design trends, products, and services.
8. Maintain a working knowledge of the Pottery Barn brand and lifestyle.
9. Ensure the Design Studio is clean and organized.
10. Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
