Design Studio Specialist

We are looking for a talented and creative Design Studio Specialist to join our team at Pottery Barn. In this role, you will be responsible for bringing our customers’ design visions to life. We are looking for someone with a keen eye for detail, excellent customer service skills, and a strong knowledge of design and decor. If you have a passion for interior design and enjoy helping others create beautiful living spaces, this could be the perfect job for you!To be successful in this role, you must have at least two years of retail design experience, preferably in a furniture or home decor setting. You should also possess a Bachelor's degree in interior design or a related field and have a comprehensive understanding of design trends and color palettes. Finally, you must have outstanding interpersonal skills, be able to work independently, and be willing to work flexible hours. Responsibilities:

1. Assist customers in creating their ideal interior design visions and bring them to life.
2. Provide excellent customer service and build relationships with clients.
3. Utilize a comprehensive understanding of current design trends and color palettes to create aesthetically-pleasing designs.
4. Utilize at least two years of retail design experience, preferably in a furniture or home decor setting.
5. Manage multiple projects simultaneously and work independently.
6. Work flexible hours as needed.
7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and new products.
8. Develop unique designs that meet customers’ expectations.
9. Assist in the selection and arrangement of furniture, fabrics, and decor.
10. Develop and maintain relationships with vendors.
