
Stock Associate

As a Stock Associate, you will play a vital role in ensuring our store is always stocked with high-quality merchandise and providing exceptional customer service. - Receive and unpack new merchandise shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of inventory.
- Inspect and organize merchandise according to company standards and procedures.
- Label and price merchandise with appropriate tags and labels.
- Place merchandise on sales floor and in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and visibility.
- Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management.
- Assist with inventory counts and audits as needed.
- Maintain a clean and organized stock room and sales floor.
- Monitor and report any damaged or defective merchandise.
- Provide excellent customer service, including assisting customers with locating merchandise and answering product questions.
- Collaborate with sales associates and management to ensure merchandise is restocked and replenished in a timely manner.
- Assist in setting up and taking down displays and promotional events.
- Follow all safety and security procedures to protect company assets.
- Continuously update knowledge of merchandise and store layout to assist customers effectively.
- Participate in training and development programs to improve job knowledge and performance.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Previous Retail Experience: A Stock Associate At Pottery Barn Should Have Prior Experience Working In A Retail Environment, Preferably In A Similar Role. This Ensures They Have A Good Understanding Of Store Operations And Customer Service.
Strong Organizational Skills: As A Stock Associate, One Will Be Responsible For Managing Inventory And Keeping The Store Organized. Therefore, Candidates Should Have Excellent Organizational Skills And The Ability To Multitask Efficiently.
Physical Stamina: This Role Requires A Lot Of Physical Activity Such As Lifting And Carrying Heavy Boxes, Standing For Long Periods, And Moving Furniture. Candidates Should Have The Physical Stamina To Meet The Demands Of The Job.
