Job Description

  1. Design and Execute Visual Displays: The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for designing and implementing visually appealing displays that effectively showcase our products and brand image.
  2. Maintain Visual Standards: It is the responsibility of the Visual Merchandiser to ensure that all visual displays, props, and signage are in line with the brand's visual standards and guidelines.
  3. Collaborate with Team Members: The Visual Merchandiser will work closely with the store management team and other departments to brainstorm and execute creative ideas for store displays and events.
  4. Monitor Inventory Levels: The Visual Merchandiser will need to regularly monitor inventory levels and work with the store management team to ensure that products are adequately stocked and displayed.
  5. Stay on Top of Industry Trends: This role requires staying up-to-date with the latest design and retail trends to incorporate them into our store displays and maintain a fresh and current look.
  6. Implement Marketing Initiatives: The Visual Merchandiser will collaborate with the marketing team to effectively execute any promotional or seasonal marketing initiatives through visually appealing displays.
  7. Maintain Store Appearance: It is the responsibility of the Visual Merchandiser to ensure that the store's appearance and layout are always clean, organized, and visually appealing.
  8. Train and Coach Team Members: The Visual Merchandiser will be responsible for training and coaching store team members on visual display techniques and maintaining visual standards.
  9. Budget Management: The Visual Merchandiser will need to manage and allocate budget appropriately for purchasing props, materials, and other visual display necessities.
  10. Provide Excellent Customer Service: As a representative of the Pottery Barn brand, the Visual Merchandiser will need to provide excellent customer service to all customers and assist in creating a welcoming and inspiring store atmosphere.

Job Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree In Visual Merchandising, Fashion Design, Or A Related Field.

  • Minimum Of 2-3 Years Experience In Visual Merchandising, Preferably In A Retail Environment.

  • Strong Eye For Design And Ability To Create Visually Appealing Displays That Align With Pottery Barn's Brand Aesthetic.

  • Knowledge Of Current Design Trends And Ability To Translate Them Into Merchandising Concepts.

  • Excellent Communication And Organizational Skills, With The Ability To Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Manage Multiple Projects Simultaneously.
