- Develop and implement credit policies and procedures to ensure timely collections and minimize risk for the organization.
- Manage a team of credit and collections specialists, providing guidance, support, and training to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Oversee the credit evaluation process for new and existing clients, making informed decisions based on financial analysis and risk assessment.
- Monitor and analyze accounts receivable aging reports to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action to collect outstanding balances.
- Communicate with clients to resolve any billing or payment issues, maintaining a professional and customer-focused approach at all times.
- Negotiate payment plans and settlements with clients as needed, while adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Work closely with the sales and client services teams to ensure accurate and timely invoicing and resolve any client disputes.
- Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to reconcile accounts and ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in credit and collections, incorporating new strategies and technologies to continuously improve processes.
- Provide regular reports to senior management on the status of credit and collections activities, highlighting any areas of concern and proposing solutions.
Bachelor's Degree In Accounting, Finance, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Credit And Collections Management, Preferably In The Pharmaceutical Industry.
Strong Understanding Of Financial Analysis, Credit Risk Assessment, And Collections Strategies.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills To Effectively Manage Relationships With Internal And External Stakeholders.
Proven Leadership And Team Management Experience, Including The Ability To Motivate And Develop A Team To Achieve Departmental Goals.
