- Develop and implement comprehensive benefits strategies in alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Manage the administration of all employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other voluntary benefits.
- Conduct thorough analysis of current benefits offerings and make recommendations for improvements and changes.
- Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new benefits programs, including vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Monitor industry trends and best practices to ensure competitiveness and effectiveness of benefits programs.
- Serve as a subject matter expert and provide guidance and support to HR team and employees regarding benefits inquiries and issues.
- Manage relationships with benefit providers and vendors, including contract negotiation and performance evaluation.
- Develop and maintain accurate and up-to-date benefits-related policies and procedures.
- Produce regular reports and analysis on benefits utilization and costs for leadership.
- Participate in the annual benefits renewal process, including plan design changes and open enrollment activities.
- Oversee the communication and education of benefits programs to employees, ensuring understanding and utilization.
- Stay informed of changes and updates in the benefits landscape and make recommendations for adjustments to programs as needed.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive employee information.
- Mentor and train junior benefits team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Bachelor's Degree In Human Resources, Business Administration, Or Related Field.
Minimum Of 5 Years Of Experience In Benefits Administration, Preferably In A Pharmaceutical Or Healthcare Industry.
Extensive Knowledge Of Federal And State Laws And Regulations Related To Benefits, Including Erisa, Cobra, Hipaa, And Aca.
Strong Analytical Skills And Experience In Conducting Cost-Benefit Analyses And Evaluating Benefit Plan Options.
Excellent Communication And Interpersonal Skills, With The Ability To Effectively Collaborate With Cross-Functional Teams And Present Complex Information To Senior Management.
