GIS Specialist (Geographic Information Systems)

In this role, you will be an integral part of our organization and will be responsible for designing and creating geographic information systems (GIS) models, managing data, and performing data analysis and mapping. To be successful in this role, you should have an in-depth knowledge of GIS systems, data analysis, and mapping software.The ideal candidate will have excellent communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills, as well as the ability to work independently and with a team. Responsibilities:

1. Design and create GIS models, data sets, and maps
2. Manage, maintain, and organize GIS data
3. Analyze data using GIS software
4. Utilize problem solving and analytical skills to interpret GIS data
5. Create reports and presentations to communicate GIS analysis results
6. Develop new GIS technologies and systems
7. Collaborate with other teams to integrate GIS into existing systems
8. Develop and implement GIS standards and procedures
9. Monitor GIS system performance and provide technical support
10. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of GIS technologies and trends
