
Health and Safety Manager
At PPL Corp., we are looking for an experienced and highly motivated Health and Safety Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will have an eye for detail and a passion for protecting our team from potential risks related to health and safety.We require a minimum of five years of experience in a health and safety management role, with a demonstrated record of success in implementing safety programs. The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's Degree in a related field, as well as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) certification, or equivalent.You will have a great sense of responsibility and leadership, and will be able to communicate effectively with all levels of staff. Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive health and safety programs and policies that meet local, state, and federal regulations.
- Monitor the performance of safety systems and identify areas of improvement.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and develop corrective action plans.
- Provide training and education to employees on health and safety topics.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
- Develop emergency plans and procedures and coordinate drills and practice sessions.
- Work with external resources to ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Develop and monitor safety-related budgets.
- Prepare reports and presentations on health and safety topics.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices.
