Job Description

At PPL Corp., we are looking for a Health and Safety Manager who can take the lead in ensuring our workplace is a safe and healthy environment for all staff and visitors. This is a vital role within our organization and the ideal candidate will be passionate about health and safety and have a great eye for detail.The successful candidate must have the following qualifications: a degree in occupational safety and health, a proven track record in health and safety management, a good understanding of relevant health and safety legislation, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to lead by example.If you are a dedicated and enthusiastic health and safety professional with the skills and experience we are looking for, we would love to hear from you.

Responsibilities of a Health and Safety Manager at PPL Corp.:

  1. Develop, implement, and maintain a comprehensive health and safety management system.
  2. Establish and enforce health and safety policies and procedures in accordance with relevant laws and regulations.
  3. Monitor the workplace for potential hazards and conduct regular safety audits.
  4. Investigate and report workplace accidents and incidents.
  5. Provide health and safety training and education to all staff and visitors.
  6. Maintain records of health and safety inspections, tests, and training.
  7. Liaise with external auditors and other regulatory bodies.
  8. Provide advice and guidance to other managers and staff regarding health and safety matters.
  9. Develop and implement emergency response plans.
  10. Monitor compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
