- Learn and develop skills in the maintenance, repair, and installation of substation equipment.
- Perform routine inspections and troubleshooting of substation equipment.

High School Diploma Or Equivalent: The Minimum Educational Requirement For A Substation Equipment Apprentice At Ppl Corp. Is A High School Diploma Or Equivalent. This Demonstrates A Basic Level Of Education And Knowledge Necessary For The Job.
Technical Certification Or Degree: Candidates With Technical Certifications Or Degrees In Fields Such As Electrical Technology, Power Engineering, Or Related Fields Will Be Given Preference For The Substation Equipment Apprentice Position. This Indicates A Higher Level Of Technical Knowledge And Skills Required For The Job.
Previous Experience In Electrical Or Power Industry: Prior Experience Working In The Electrical Or Power Industry, Such As An Internship Or Entry-Level Position, Is Highly Preferred For This Role. This Shows That The Candidate Has Some Practical Knowledge And Understanding Of The Industry.
